The LIFT programme is a personalised programme providing county wide travel training for disabled, vulnerable and disadvantaged young people, with the aim of helping them to use public transport more confidently. There is also LIFT Plus, which is aimed at young people who are not in education, employment or training (NEET), or at risk of becoming NEET, or where travel training could help maintain a place in employment, training or education. Jump 2 Ed. This is a scheme providing temporary loans of a motor scooter, or a mountain bike to help young people aged 16-19 access education where public transport is unavailable or problematic.
