The New Youth Support Service for Gloucestershire

On Friday 1st July the new Youth Support Service for Gloucestershire will be launched.

The new service will consist of different professionals offering a wide range of skills and expertise to young people.

It will replace individual services such as the prevention service, Connexions and the youth service. The new service will comprise of the following:

  • Youth Offending service
  • Looked after children and Care Leavers Support services (for 16+)
  • Early intervention and prevention service for 11-19 year olds
  • Support for young people with disabilities and learning difficulties
  • Positive activities for young people with disabilities
  • Support with housing and homelessness
  • Support to tackle drug and alcohol problems and other health issues
  • Support into education, employment and training
  • Support for teenage parents
