Gloucestershire Youth Support Service is part of Gloucestershire County Council's Children and Young People's Directorate.
We provide a range of services targeted at vulnerable young people aged 11-19 years (up to 25 if you have special needs). Having fun and awakening ambition is at the heart of the service.
We believe that by helping young people to feel positive about themselves, their futures and their communities we can improve their outcomes.
YSS includes:
Youth Offending Service
Looked After Children
Care Leaver's Support Services (for those aged 16+)
Early Intervention and Prevention Service for 11 - 19 year olds
Support for young people with learning difficulties and/or disabilities
Positive Activities for young people with disabilities
Support with housing and homelessness
Help and support to tackle substance misuse problems and other health issues
Support into education, training and employment
Support for teenage parents
